In this article, I have decided to present to you the top ten things to do will you are in the Drôme.

1. The “Forêt de Saou”. The forêt de Saou is one of the highest geosycline in Europe. There are a number of ways to visit the Forêt de Saou : You can either walk through the forêt de Saou or drive through by car. However from the Trois Becs you have a view from the top on to the Forêt de Saou. (see point number 7)
2. Crest. Crest is a town of approximately 8 000 inhabitants, famous for it’s donjon. The Donjon of Crest is the heighest donjon in France and one of the highest in Europe. It measures 52 meters high (170.6 feet). Once you visited Crest ou can take your car and visit the Forêt de Saou.

4. Col de Rousset. Col de Rousset is a small ski station in the Vercors. In wnter you can ski. In spring, summer and autumn you can do differnt fun activities. 5. Vercors. Vercors is a mountain range in the French departements of Isère and Drôme. It is famous for its mountains that are around 2 000 meters high. 6. Tain l’hermitage. Tain l’hermitage is a town in the north of the Drôme. It is Famous for ” Cité du Chocolat Valrhona “. Cité du Chocolat Valrhona is a museum of choclate that is very famous in it’s region. You can go there for a day and visite the museum and it’s vineyards. 7. “Les Trois Becs”. Les trois Becs are three peaks that are named “Veyou”(1589 m), “Le Signal” (1559 m) and “Roche Courbe” (1545 m). It is famous for it’s hiking paths and for being ontop of The Forêt de Saou (see point number one). If you try toue the Hiking path that starts in the Forêt de Saou it will take you a day.
8. “Les chateaux de la Drôme”. “Les chateaux de la Drôme” is a group of three castles. the three castles are the castles of Grignan, suze-la-Rousse and Les Adhémar/Montelimar. 9. “Palais ideal du Facteur Cheval”. This is a protected monument that was built by a rural postman. He dedicated 33 years of work, 10 000 days, 93 000 hours of work. 10. European Hunting Aviation museum. The European Hunting Aviation is in montelimar the second most populated town in the Drôme.
